SEALYBRATION
July 10-12

This July, the City of Sealy will be welcoming back the return of a local festival known as Sealybration. This multi-day event is scheduled to kick off Friday, July 10th lasting until Sunday, July 12. The Sealybration is a family-oriented festival with activities for all ages. Friday morning will start out with a Barbeque Cook-off sanctioned by the Lone Star Barbeque Society followed by the opening pitch at 6:00pm for the softball tournament. The night will end with a free concert with the crowd pleasing sounds of Southbound 955 from Fayetteville, TX.

Saturday’s events will commence at 10:00am with the opening of the arts and crafts booths and food and drink stands that will remain open until 12 midnight. There will also be plenty of children’s activities featuring water slides, bounce houses, petting zoo and much much more. The barbeque cook-off will be holding their main judging events so patrons can feel free to visit the participating teams’ tents and taste their hopeful award-winning turn-in entries. If a festival patron is interested in sports, the softball tournament will be continuing during day two. Although music will be played through-out the day, the festival headline entertainment is set to take-off at 6:30 with the local favorite, Triumphs. At 8:30pm Django Walker will take the stage followed by the Texas country sounds of Aaron Watson who will begin at 10:30 lasting until midnight.

The Sealybration will come to a close that Sunday with the final games of the softball tournament, arts and crafts booths open for last-minute shoppers and kids activities for those who are visiting for the first time or those kids who just had to have one more fun day in the sun.

Admission on Friday and Sunday will be free of charge.
On Saturday, admission will be $5 and children under the age of 7 years old will be free.
After 5:00pm throughout Saturday evening, admission will be $15.

The Sealybration is organized by the Sealy Community Foundation which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of education opportunities and non-profit charities. The events of the Sealybration are sponsored by and operated through local adult and children non-profit organizations. All money and proceeds collected by the Sealybration will be distributed back to Austin County.
